The SS10 was announced in May 1992. End of Life was
announced in July 1994. The last order date was October 1994.
The SS10SX was announced in October 1993. End of Life was
announced in July 1994. The last order date was October 1994.
The GT Graphics Option was announced in May 1991. End of Life
was announced in April 1994. The last order date was July 1994.
The Freedom 1000 and Freedom 3000 Graphics Accelerators
were announced in July 1994. End of Life was announced in April
1997. The last order date was August 1997.
Refer to the Field Engineer Handbook for additional information
related to the SS10 and SS10SX such as Modules, SBus cards, and
Disk drives still used on other systems.
End of Support Life is the end of Sun's commitment to support the
product. Sun may help customers locate alternative sources for
support on a case-by-case basis if ongoing support is needed
beyond 5 years. Spare parts availability after End of Support Life
may be limited and repair service will be at Sun's discretion.
